Lt Col (Retired) Hunter K. Jones is the Founder & CEO of Jones & Associates – Consulting & Concierge Services, LLC. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in security, investigations, intelligence, cybersecurity, and business development across the public and private sectors.

Prior to founding Jones & Associates, Hunter served as Senior Account Executive for Business Development & Sales at Clarity Innovations and previously as Director of Business Development & Sales at Liberty Source, PBC. His leadership experience also includes serving as Business Development Manager at Babel Street and Vice President of Federal Programs at RedVector.

Throughout his private-sector career, Hunter has served as a Strategic Security Consultant supporting organizations including Chameleon Consulting Group, Fortem Technologies, System High, Babel Street, and Clearspeed. He also worked with Insight Global as Security Operations Center (SOC) Leader within Penn Medicine’s Information Security Division, providing critical cybersecurity leadership and operational support.

Before entering the consulting sector, Hunter served as Government Security Leader for The Boeing Company in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and Patuxent River, Maryland, where he oversaw industrial security programs supporting critical defense initiatives. Prior to Boeing, he was an Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Counterintelligence Service, the Department of Homeland Security Counterintelligence Mission Center, and U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT).

As an active-duty U.S. Air Force officer, Hunter served as a career Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). During his distinguished military career, he led and participated in missions involving narcotics investigations, major felony investigations, executive protection, counterintelligence, counterespionage, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, human trafficking investigations, and child exploitation operations.

Hunter deployed twice as a Special Agent in Charge and Commander during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He also served as Global Security Director and Personal Security Advisor to Air Force Chief of Staff General John Jumper. Later, as Special Agent in Charge at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, he commanded a 24-member investigative unit while working closely with senior military leadership and the U.S. Attorney’s Office to support complex investigative operations.

In his final active-duty assignment, Hunter served at U.S. Central Command in the Security Cooperation Division, where he led the Plans, Programs & Policy Directorate. In this role, he helped strengthen the security capabilities and capacities of partner nations throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

Hunter was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in 1997 after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. While attending the Academy, he played varsity football after first competing at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, Rhode Island.

He later earned a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College at the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2007. In 2010, he completed a Master of Arts in Military Operational Art and Science, with an emphasis in International Security Studies, from the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base.
